Starry Night

Today’s Poem was about looking upwards to the stars

Starry Night

There are ten million of you

Visible to my eye.

Only a hundred of you

With a name given by man.

Sirius you are the brightest start,

The one that shines down on us,

You are the scorcher,

The queen of heaven.

Wolf-Rayet you are almost the faintest star,

The one I strain my eyes for.

You lose mass rapidly,

Because of the stellar wind.

Still you all shine,

In a clear nights sky.

I still feel awe and wonder

Every time I see you.
