Threads of love

Day 29 of Napowrimo

Fine iridescent threads

entwining hearts

illuminating, changing colour

delicately threading our lives together

unbreakable lustrous souls

moving slowly joining

lifting us towards a new dawn

theses threads of love

are ours to keep.

The words we cannot say

Water laps at the shore
Wind is just a gentle puff
Sun slow Rises in the sky
I climb the rock
Crouching, looking, feeling
Barnacles cling under my feet
Waster crashes against the rock
Spraying me with a hundred kisses
Wind blows and tangles my hair
Telling me it’s secrets
Sun shines on my face
Covering me with smiles
You are not here, yet you are close
I feel you in my thoughts, my ears, my lips
There are still things unspoken
Things are so hard to say
I can shout it to the crashing waves
I can whisper to the blowing wind
I can smile the words to the sun
Yet if you were here I’d hold your hand
Hold you close and smile
Those words my darling you know
We both find them so hard to say
One day my love one day.

Half moon

I saw the moon, I thought of you

This half moon shining brightly

Do you see the same moon I see?

Is yours as bright as mine?

This half moon I see,

It radiates happiness

From my side it is so bright

It captures my thoughts

It shares them with the stars

They twinkle brightly

We search for the stars we know

Stories unfold, memories shared

As the dark sky fills with tiny lights

So even when you’re not with me

And when the clouds are dark

The moon is always there

Waiting for the moment

To share its light once more

So you can see the moon

Is it look the same as mine?

Autumnal lovers

Autumnal morning,

Lovers delight

Low rising sun

Just enough heat

A lover’s walk

In the morning dew

Dazzling jewels

adorning  cobwebs

Delicately strong

Soft lovers kiss

Blackberry sweet

Hands are cold

Entwined with yours

Warm once again

Whisper of a breeze

Rustle in the leaves

Of a love that will last

A smile, a giggle

Now words are spoken

None are needed

Just a lingering kiss

On an autumn morning

Made to last
