Right TIme

After yesterdays news came today’s realisation, that its time for a real change. A chance to live more, not worry about the past or try and see into the future but to take the bull by the horns and make the moment the right time to change.

.

No more waiting for the right time

no more waiting for your call

no more living in the shadows

Time has opened the door

This is the right time

for me to do the right things

to do what I want

for me to be me

and if you choose

you can dance with me

sing my song

live in my life

for its my right time.

9-5

Auto pilot at the start of the day

eggs scrambled, fresh coffee

work through the day

smile on my face

watching the clock

routinely played

the hamster wheel

we ride each day

Time for a change

ditch the day job

and follow our dream

Dispair to a smile

Bleak is the moment

Ice is the air

Frosty with colleagues

Too much to bear

Comfort zone pulled

From under our feet

Jobs are now missing and obsolete

Tired are our heads

Weary our trust

Comfy at the top

No worries of loss

Ground down are the workers

No steam left

Where does it leave u?

Without much choice

Unless we claim back

The years we may loose

If we don’t see the light

Don’t take a chance

Stop being used, down trodden and glum

NO more despair, hope fills the air

Time for a change, smile for the new

sadness fills my soul

Sadness fills my soul

my heart is heavier than lead

my head is hung

I can only look down

the floor is grey like my skin

darkness is all around me

the bounce in my voice has left

the smile on my face has gone

I cannot find the light

I cannot find the happiness

I know the change is coming

I just don’t know what to do

to make things change

to make things better

sadness stays in my soul

Change is acomming

Eerie silence fills the air

the day has come for change

My choice, my change

The last day day has come

My comfort blanket of a job has stopped

whipped away, my choice

This is the end of an era

Jobs last day has come

There is an ache inside for what I know

a sadness for leaving it behind

apprehension for what comes next

I know that this will pass

I cant expect different if things stay the same

There is always a choice, which I grab

Today is the end of my comfortable job

On Monday a new chapter starts.

Autumnal August

Fierce hot sun is now a warm glow

Brilliant blue skies turns into baby blue

Harsh hard light, is now soft to the face

Warm summer air, now has a nip to its touch

Cobnuts are heavy, pulling branches down

Hundreds of Blackberries all pumped up and lush

A glut of Rose hips adorn the bushes

There is a feast ahead for us all.

Summer feels as its coming to an end

August great heat has disappeared

Autumn has come early, or at least that’s how it feels

The seasons are moving, away from the norm

The River of Life

The stream gently trickles along

This babbling brook, singing merrily

It’s water continually changing and moving

Like the river, we are always doing things for the first time

Twisting, turning, gaining momentum

It bends and twists, deepening and widening

With uncertainty, like life, this cannot stagnate

not knowing the depth or the speed, we take a chance

Gushing the river flows faster, it crashes on rocks

Swirling and changing direction

In life you can’t push against the water,

Flow Freely yourself, just as the river does

Like life, things change change

A dam diverts it, takes it on a new path

We can do the same if we take a chance

Following a new branch if we choose

The river does not live in the past

Nor does it live in the future

It lives in the present, in this moment only

Living once, then it meanders away

The trickling waters slows right down

Taking time to gently wander

Take a step back for a moment, look at your life

Take a chance, before it meanders away.
