Enveloping

Day 14 of Napowrimo

My words hang like over me like a veil

Fine mist engulfs me like a shroud

Dappled light reminds me of paradise

I want to speak but there’s a thick veil

There is no light just a heavy shroud

Echoes of words catch my breath

Beautiful sounds take me to paradise

Slowly exhaling my thoughts in my breath.

Half moon

I saw the moon, I thought of you

This half moon shining brightly

Do you see the same moon I see?

Is yours as bright as mine?

This half moon I see,

It radiates happiness

From my side it is so bright

It captures my thoughts

It shares them with the stars

They twinkle brightly

We search for the stars we know

Stories unfold, memories shared

As the dark sky fills with tiny lights

So even when you’re not with me

And when the clouds are dark

The moon is always there

Waiting for the moment

To share its light once more

So you can see the moon

Is it look the same as mine?

Light of the Russian Doll

Dark is my space

No Sunlight, No twilight,

No moonlight, No starlight.

Hidden away, forgotten.

Silence falls around me

Only my memories

Talk in my head

Nestled in this void

No understanding of time

I once was beautiful

Painted elaborately

The smallest one

At the very heart

In the middle of the layers

Now movement

Gently at first then

Shaking, banging

Suddenly brightness

Searing, exciting

Releasing me from this space

Freedom and identity

My time to shine

As I am brought

Into the light

Honesty

honesty

Honesty, your fragrant purple flowers

Oval translucent seed heads

Gleam with eerie silver light.

You seed yourself freely.

.

Honesty you are of moral character

Positive, truthful and trustworthy

You are yourself

Living your life freely

.

Dare to be honest

Grow like honesty

Old fashioned charm

Thrive and be free

Spirit in the Sky

Black menacing clouds gather above

Sharp Cracks of thunder roll around the sky

Bright lights flashes lights up the dark

Then lightening forks rush downwards

Deep sinister clouds swell in numbers

Rain batters against the window

Looking deep into this dark obscurity

What do they hide behind their darkness?

Spirits in the sky, desperate to break free

Spring day

Dark clouds race across the sky

Driving rain falls like curtains of lace

Wind blows in gusts bending still life

A shard of bright light breaks through

Delicate leaves ripped from branches

White shapes fall in swirls

Dancing, fluttering in blasts of air

Cherry blossom falls like flurries of snow

Another spring day is here
